STANLEY ZLATOHLAVEK

Stanley C. Zlatohlavek, 76, of 1118 S. Lake St., Manitowoc, died Friday at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he was a patient seven weeks.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Paul Blaufuss will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemteery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Zlatohlavek was born April 25, 1893, in Czechoslovakia, son of the late Frank
and Anna Hcleskova Zlatohlavek, and when nine months old came to America with his
parents. He married Dorothea Gaestel April 4, 1912, at Racine, and the couple
located in Manitowoc. He was employed as a switchman for the Chicago and North
Western Railroad 39 years, retiring in 1959. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge
and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and Senior Citizens. His wife died
Sept. 26, 1964.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Hubert C. (Bernice) Meyer and a son, Ellsworth
of Manitowoc; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A son and two brothers
preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home, Ninth Street entrance, after 3 p.m. Sunday.
