PARENTS: William and Nancy (Wolf) James, who were married in Cole County, Missouri on March 11, 1841. Nancy's paternal grandparents were John A. James (1790-1877) and Rachael (Bray) James (1794-1857).
HUSBAND: She married John Hanna Coffee on Sept. 1, 1872 in Morgan County, Missouri. They had two children: Elisabeth "Lizzie" (wife of Jerome Page) and John Willis (b. 1875 in Sherman, Texas)
