5th of 10 Children, and the 3rd daughter, born to William M. James and Nancy Wolff. She married Nicholas Jaynes Holst, Jr. on 26, Mar 1872 in Morgan County, Missouri. Nine children were born to the couple and they adopted another son; John Henry (see Eldon Cemetery), Latricia Berdine ( moved to San Joaquin County, California), Thomas Rossen (who died in San Diego, Calif.), Nicholas Jay, Charles L., Hiram Cleveland ( of Colorado), Missouri Iola (buried in Eldon Cemetery, 2 children who died in Infancy, and Robert V. Lytel. Her husband is also buried in Ivy Cemetery.
