In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Jim Goodman; three sisters: Mery Ellen, May, and Charlean; two brothers: Raymond Reed and Allen McDonald; dear brother-in-law Lenard Abney.
Survived by nine children: Larry Goodman and wife Vicky of Indiana, Helen McNorton and Randy King of Helenwood, James Goodman and wife Mery of Kentucky, Avery Caldwell and wife Chris of Texas, Donna Songer and Eddie Harness of Oneida, Karen Cook and Burt of Sweetwater, Mike Caldwell and wife Deb of Oneida, and John Caldwell and Tony Mead of Robbins; sister Christine Abney of Florida and special sister and best friend Mazine McDonald of Huntsville; two brothers: Alvin McDonald and wife Mikkie of Alabama and Charlie Sexton and wife Jackie of Huntsville; one very special niece that made sure "I had chicken tenders, potato wedges and Gatorade and went out of her way to make sure I had what I needed" Stacy Keeton Honeycutt; 38 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends may visit with the Caldwell family on Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Dudley Harness officiating. Music will be provided by the Mason Family. Interment will follow in the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery.
