Helen Rose McNorton King, age 61, of Helenwood, Tennessee, formerly of Shelbyville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on April 26, 1957 in Akron, Ohio to the late Kenneth Goodman and Evelyn Caldwell.

She is preceded in death by her brother: Jim Goodman and James Goodman; sister Donna Songer; grandson: Dillion McGhee.

She is survived by her committed partner: Randy King; Children: Helen Kay (Kenny) Thomas of Helenwood, Tennessee, Preston (Renee) McGhee, Christina (Dallas) Johnson, Deddie (Mike) Monroe all of Unionville, Tennessee, and Kenneth (Whitney) Caldwell of Oneida, Tennessee; stepchildren: Mark and Jackie Jo King of LaFollette, Tennessee; brothers and sisters: Larry (Vicki) Goodman, Avery (Chris) Caldwell, Karen (Burt) Bayless, Michael (Debbie) Caldwell, and John (Sonna) Caldwell; special friends: Eula Duncan and Randall Duncan; special friend and sister for 30 plus years: Pamela Elliot; grandchildren: Christopher Gann, Nicole (Caleb) Chavis, Sharon and Dillion McGhee, Tiffany, Carissa, and Garrett Graves, Michael and Victoria Burke, Zacary, Zander, Jayden, and Jayse Monroe, Makayla Caldwell, and Waylin, Bentley, Naveah King, and many more loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Friends may visit with the King family on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 2 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4 p.m. at the Macedonia Christian Center in Oneida, Tennessee with Bro. Randall Duncan officiating.

Burial will follow in the King/Bowling Cemetery in Helenwood, Tennessee. Serving as pallbearers will be: Kenny Thomas, Mike Monroe, Mark King, Garrett Graves, Zac Monroe, and Zander Monroe. Honorary pallbearers will be: Kenneth Caldwell, Mike Caldwell, and Dallas Johnson.
