Louise Daugherty Reed McDonald, 94, of Huntsville, passed away February 27, 2004, at the family residence. Born in Scott County, May 4, 1910, she was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah Daugherty and Marthie Duncan; husbands, Elmer Lee Reed and Floyd McDonald; four infant children, three daughters: Mae Phillips, Mary Ellen Crowley, and Charlene McDonald; two brothers, Willie Daugherty and Calvin York; and one sister, Brozilla Daugherty. She is survived by four sons: Raymond Reed and wife, Shirley, and Allen McDonald, all of Huntsville; Alvin McDonald and wife, Mickie, of Huntsville, Ala.; and Charles Sexton of Helenwood; three daughters: Evelyn Caldwell of Oneida, Mazine McDonald of Huntsville, and Christine and Leonard Abney of Orlando, Fla.; 57 grandchildren, 106 great-grandchildren, numerous great-great-grandchildren, special care-givers, Tammy Waters and David Rambo; and many other relatives. Interment, Keeton Cemetery in Huntsville.
