Nelson H. Woodruff died in his home at Risingsun Monday at 4 p.m. at the age of eighty one.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of God at Risingsun at 2 p.m. on Thursday. Rev. R. A. Hoffman of Fostoria will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery east of Risingsun. The body will remain at the Mann Funeral Home until time of the services.
He was the son of Thomas and Jermima Woodruff and was born January 31, 1858 near Carey. He was married to Susan Edwards December 30, 1881.
He is survived by his wife and children, Theodore Woodruff, Harvey Woodruff, Walter Woodruff, Floyd Woodruff, Isaac Woodruff, Mrs. Cloyce Deckard, Mrs. Gladys Weiker, Mrs. Ida Weiker; by two brothers, Marion Woodruff, Findlay, Lafayette Woodruff of Van Buren; by one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Tyson of Fostoria; by forty seven grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.
