George L. Woodruff, 49, resident of Fremont most of his life, died unexpectedly Friday at 11:05 p.m. in Memorial Hospital where he had been admitted an hour earlier for medical treatment. His residence was 711 North Wood Street.

A native of Risingsun, he was born August 9, 1900, the son of Nelson and Suzzanne Edwards Woodruff. On September 20, 1926, he was married to Mabel Leggett. He had been employed as an inspector at the Bingham-Herbrand Corporation for the last seven years.

Funeral services were held from the Weller-Wonderly Mortuary Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. H.W. Findlay. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery.

Survivors are his widow, a son, Leo at home; a daughter, Mrs Don Ohms, Freemont; six brothers, Theodore & Isaac of Bradner, Harry & Clinton, Toledo; Walter, Lima, and Floyd, Castalia and three sisters; Mrs Lonzo Weiker, Risingsun, Mrs Lloyd Decker of Findlay and Mrs. Glady Weiker, Bradner. Four sisters preceded him in death.
