Harry Woodruff, 70, a carpenter, died yesterday in Maumee Valley Hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Woodruff, born in Defiance, lived in Toledo most of his life. His home was at 2803 Wilford Drive.

Surviving are daughters; Mrs. Dottie Browning and Mrs. Hazel Steffen, both of Toledo; brothers; Clinton, of Toledo; Walter, of Lima; Isaac and Theodore, both of Bradner; sisters, Mrs Ila Weiker, Risingsun, Ohio and Mrs. Cloyce Decker, Findlay; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Reeb Mortuary, Sylvania, with burial in Kansas Station, Ohio.

Harry Sherman Woodruff married Anna Marie Showalter on Febraury 14, 1904 in Kansas, Seneca County, Ohio.
