CAMPBELL, Queenell Wray, 88, of Trinity Mission Health Care of Rocky Mount, went home to be with our Blessed Lord on Sunday, March 24, 2002. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard "Strawberry" Campbell; son, Walter "Boat" Campbell; daughter, Geraldine Anne Campbell; granddaughter, Joanna Michelle Hodges; her parents, Oat and Claude Wray; two brothers, Mack and Cecil Wray; two sisters, Hilda Hall and Virgie Jones. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Harold and Fern Campbell of Glade Hill, Earl Campbell of Rocky Mount, Ronnie and Pam Campbell of Rocky Mount; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Harold Morris of Rocky Mount, Georgia and Fred Hodges of Rocky Mount, Sue and Winford Hodges of Rocky Mount; one sister and brother-in-law, Mattie and Tom Johnson of Rocky Mount; two brothers and four sisters-in-law, Marvin and Dot Wray of Chambersburg, Pa., Paul and Ruby Wray of Angola, Ind.; Virginia Wray of Blackstone, Julia Wray of Rocky Mount; and a very special friend, Verda Perdue of Redwood. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday from Woodlawn Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Hawks officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Glade Hill Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 82, Glade Hill, Va. 24092 or Woodlawn Baptist Church, 30 Woodlawn Dr., Rocky Mount, Va. 24151. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service where her family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. and other times at the home of Sue and Winford Hodges, 1954 North Main St., Rocky Mount. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service, S. Main St., Rocky Mount.
