Arcadia, died Wednesday, Jan . 12,
1994. at St. Anthony Nursing Home
in Carroll.
Mass of the Christian burial for
Mrs. Schroeder will b e held at 10:30
a.m. Saturday. Jan. 15 1994, a t St.
John Church in Arcadia with Monsignor
James Lafferty officiating. Lector
will be Nadine Schroeder.
Eucharistlc minister will be Bob
Wolterman. Mass servers will be
Chad Onken and Jeff Beming. Gift
bearers will be Kay Augustus, Lori
Wagner and Leah Hesson.
Casket bearers will be grandsons
Tom Schroeder , Keith
Schroeder, Lon Schroeder, Brian
Schroeder, Scott Wolterman and
Jeff Lussman.
Burial will be in St. John Cemetery
in Arcadia.

where a rosary will b e held at 3
p.m. by the Christian Mothers and
Ladles Guild of Arcadia and a Christian
vigil service will be held at 7:30
p.m.
She was born Aug. 20, 1896. at
Maple River, a daughter of Anton
and Elizabeth (Letting) Pille, and
was educated at St. Francis School
in Maple River.
She and Aloysius (Louis)
Schroeder were married J a n . 29,
1918, at St. Francis Church in
Maple River with the Rev. August
Meyer officiating.
The Schroeders farmed one-half
mile south of Arcadia. They retired
and moved into Arcadia in 1956.
Mr. Schroeder died in 1973.
Mrs. Schroeder lived at St.
Anthony Nursing Home for 5Vfe
years.
She was a member of St. John
Parish, the Christian Mothers and
the Ladles Guild, all of Arcadia.
Survivors include seven children
and their spouses, Dorothy (Mrs.
Clem) Mueggenberg of Arcadia,
Orville Schroeder and his wife,
Lucille, of Carroll, Ivan Schroeder
and his wife. Alma, of Elma, Iowa,
Mercedes (Mrs. Harold) Renze of
Omaha, Neb.. Ethel (Mrs. A.R.) Hesson
of San Angelo, Texas, Vincent
Schroeder and his wife, Carolyn, of
Arcadia and Shirley (Mrs. Bob) Wolterman
of Westside; 35 grandchildren;
59 great-grandchildren;
four great-great-grandchildren; a
sister-in-law, Rose Berger, of Milwaukee,
Wis.; a son-in-law, Wilbert
Lussman, of Carroll; and a daughter in law , Lois Schroeder , of Arcadia.
Mrs. Schroeder was preceded in
death by her parents; her husband,
Louis, in 1973; two daughters, Marcella
Schroeder In infancy and Ruth
Lussman in 1993; a son, Duane
Schroeder, in 1993; a granddaughter,
Barbara Wolterman; five brothers,
Clem Harry Pille In infancy,
Bernard A. Pille, Frank R. Pille.
