Mrs. Bertha Agnes Hartzel Brown, 75, Butler R.D. 3, died at 5:15 p.m. yesterday.
A Beaver County native, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Elizabeth Riddle Hartzel, and had resided in this vicinity for many years. Mrs. Brown was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She was the widow of John Edward Brown.
Surviving are a son, Charles M. Brown, Butler R.D. 7; five daughters, Mrs. Wilda Lutton, Mrs. Ethel Stubbs and Mrs. Bertha Rape, all of Ashtabula, O., Mrs. Venus Protzman, R.D. 3 and Mrs. Myrtle Mazzanti, San Antonio, Tex.; three brothers, Albert and Harvey Hartzel, both of Ellwood City, and Charles Hartzel, M.R. 11; 25 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Friends of Mrs. Bertha Agnes Hartzel Brown, Butler R.D. 3, who died Sunday, Jan. 1, 1956, will be received at the Thompson Funeral Home, Monday and Tuesday. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greenawalt (Gruenwald) Cemetery.
