He was a past partner of Master Furriers and a buyer of furs for Hudson Bay Fur Co. He was a life master bridge player, an avid hunter and fisherman and a dog trainer.
His wife, Helen, and a daughter, Suzanne, died previously. He is survived by a son, Arnold of St. Louis, Mo.; a daughter, Clevette Lionberger of Houston; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert, of Madison; and a sister, Janice, of St. Louis.
Private family services: will be in St. Louis today.
