"BOUNTIFUL ~ Alma Bangerter, age 90, died in a Salt Lake City hospital December 29, 1976.
He was born December 29, 1886, Milcreek, Utah, to Niclaus Bangerter and Anna Elizabeth Marti Bangerter. Lived most of his life in Bountiful. Attended schools in Bountiful. Was married September 16, 1908, to Gertrude Brooks, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was self-employed as a farmer, served a mission to Switzerland, and also to the Northern States mission. He was a high priest in the Bountiful 43rd Ward.

Survivors: wife, Bountiful; four sons; Alma, Clearfield, Utah; Arnold, Leland, Roy and Neslin, all Bountiful; four daughters; Mrs. Henry (Thelma) Beckstead, Midvale; Mrs. Eva Miller, Mrs. LaRene Kimber, Mrs. Robert Rhea Gibbs, all Bountiful; 38 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; three brothers; Alfred, Bountiful; Arnold, Fairview, Utah; Adolph, Spanish Fork; one sister: Mrs. Frederick W. (Mary) Finch, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 3, 1977, at the Lindquist-Bountiful Mortuary, 727 North 400 East, Bountiful, at 12 noon. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary and one hour prior to services on Monday. Interment Bountiful Memorial Park."
