ERNEST BANGERTER
Centerville - Ernest Bangerter, 72, 870 S. Main, Centerville, died Wednesday of injuries suffered Tuesday when a falling car crushed him in a public Salt Lake garage.
Born August 3, 1893 in Bountiful, a son of Nicklaus and Anna Elizabeth Maril Bangerter. He married Virginia Ella Barr Feb. 14, 1917 in the Salt Lake Temple. Former employee of Sweet Candy Co. He served two stake missions and was president of the Elders Quorum for 14 years. Member of the ward finance committee.
Survivors include his widow; brothers and sister, Alma, Alfred, Adolph, all of Bountiful; Arnold, Alameda, Calif.; Mrs. Fred (Mary) Finch, of Salt Lake City.
Funeral, Saturday at noon, Centerville Third Ward chapel. Friends may call at Union Mortuary Friday from 7-9 p.m., or Saturday 10:30-11:30 a.m. Burial at West Jordan Cemetery.
