Helena Wanda Baker, 93, of Decatur, IN passed away on Friday, February 1, 2008 at Woodcrest Nursing Center in Decatur, IN. Helena was born on August 28, 1914 to Wilbur and Adeline (Bischoff) Reidenbach in Van Wert County, OH. She married Robert J. Baker on November 11, 1933. He passed away on January 27, 1964.

She is survived by a son Ronald L. (Judy) Baker of Columbia City, IN; a daughter Mrs. Fred (Betty J.) Lengerich of Monroe, IN; a brother Paul Reidenbach of Decatur, IN; a sister Francille Hall of Decatur, IN; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Baker, her daughter Patricia A. Baker, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Helena was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Decatur, IN. She retired from Wayne Novelty and also worked for Reidenbach Equipment.

Visitation will be from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Haggard & Sefton Funeral Home and 1 hour prior to service on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church. Officiating will be the Reverend Daniel Gadbaw. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Decatur, IN. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Lighting Fund or St. Joseph's Catholic School.
