George M Britton, 44, Pawling, died Sept 24 at home. Born Jan 21, 1937 in Pawling, he was the son of Raymond Britton Sr and the late Minerva Pierson Britton. He married the former Marlen Langlois, who survives, as do two sons, George M Jr, and James P, both of Pawling; daughters Mrs Laurie Dunleavy and Jean Britton, both of Jacksonville, FL; five brothers, Edward & Howard, Pawling; Raymond Jr, Lake Carmel; Allen, Council Bluffs, IA; Frederick, Nahsua, NH; sisters Mrs Viola Childress, Council Bluffs, IA; Mrs Sarah Lewis, Nashua, NH; Mrs Bernice Morris, Gaithersburg, MD; Mrs Petra DerBoghossian, Wingdale; Mrs Patricia Spinner, Pawling.
