Mrs. Georgia A. Bryant, 67, died at the Brandon hospital Tuesday morning following a stroke suffered eight days ago.
She was born in Smith county and made her home in Jackson until ten years ago when she moved on the Brandon road. She was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist church in Smith county.
Mrs. Bryant is survived by nine children, Mrs. Mable Hunt, Mrs. Eunice Adams, Mrs. Lois Switzer, A. J. Bryant, all of Jackson; R. T. Bryant, Corinth; Mrs. Erma White, Durant; Mrs. Virgie Little, Mize; Mrs. June Simmons, Brookland, Mrs. Mitzi Monroe, Tucumcari, N. M.; eight grandchildren; two great - grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews; five brothers, G. D., J. B., James Edward and T. J. Currie, all of Magee; William Currie, Montgomery, Ala.; two sisters, Mrs. Effie Mangum, Mrs. Delia Keyes, both of Magee.
The remains will lie at Taylor funeral home until 7 o'clock Wednesday morning when they will be transferred to Mims-Mitchell funeral home at Magee. Services will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday from Pine Grove Baptist church five miles northeast of Magee. Internment will be in Pine Grove cemetery.
Her nephews will be pallbearers.
