Grover Daniel Currie, age 69, was found dead in the bathroom of the home of his son, Ethel Currie. He was found by his son shortly after his return from school.
Funeral services will be conducted from Sharon Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, with Rev. S.E. Sumrall, P.O. Nix and H.B. Speights officiating. Interment will follow in the Sharon cemetery under the direction of Mims Mitchell Funeral Home.
Surviving are three sons, Ethel of Mize; Elton, Mize; Lavell, Natchez; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Holman and Mrs. Jimmy Layton, of Jackson; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; four brothers, J.B., T.J. and Ed Currie, Magee; William Currie, Montgomery, Ala.; two sisters, Mrs. Essie Mangum and Mrs. Della Keys, of Magee.
