Burial was in Hillview cemetery. Pallbearers were William Lindstrom, Frank Drabbs, Thomas Ross, Albert Chesterson, E. F. Simmons and Clair Duncan. Honorary pallbearers were R. R. Black, Hugo Hansen, Charles Harris, Oscar Cutting, Lee Cornwell and Carl Anderson.

The Peterson mortuary of Glasgow was in charge.

Mr. Jones died March 16 at his home west of Hinsdale. A recent leg injury was thought to have resulted in a blood clot stopping his heart.

Frank Jones was born at Waseca Minnesota October 6, 1873, and grew to manhood there. He first came to Montana in 1898 and homesteaded on Willow creek 25 miles north of the present site of Hinsdale. He went back Minnesota that fall and shipped Hereford cattle back to His ranch here. He lived here until 1902, when he returned to Minnesota to marry Miss Agnes Quitney, June 16, 1903.

He farmed the family farm there with his brother, George, until November, 1906, when he returned to his Montana homestead, bringing his wife and family.

In 1907 he purchased the ranch and livestock owned by his brother-in-law, W. I. Ballard, on Rock creek and in 1913 he bought the Hugo Hansen ranch on Willow creek. He had gradually expanded his holdings since to make one of the largest ranches in this part of the country.

His first wife died in 1916, leaving three children.

On March 13, 1920, he married Mrs. Winnifred Werner in Hinsdale.

He purchased the Tanner ranch 11 miles northwest of Hinsdale in 1930 to supply winter feed for his livestock and had since made the family home there.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife; three children by his first marriage, Mrs. Robert McElvain, Harvey Jones and Mrs. Frank Gilliam; eight children by his second marriage, Blanche Jones, Mrs. Jay Bordwell of Penn Yan, New York; Lorraine Jones, Mrs. Duane Burnet, Frank Jones Jr., Nellie Jones, Thomas Jones and Ramona Jones; a brother, Roy Jones of Hinsdale; two sisters, Mrs. W.
