Harold H. Boggess, 69, 720 Plum St., died today [Jul. 28, 1978] at his home.

The Iowa native lived in Eau Claire for many years. He was employed by the L.G. Arnold Co. for 215 years, retiring in 1973. He married Gladys Bain here on April 5, 1969.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Juel, Appleton, John, Eau Claire, and Russell, San Diego, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Gerald Shepperd, Marinette, Mrs. Frederick Bain, Sandwich, Ill., and Mrs. Monte Bowlin, Park Falls; two step-daughters, Mrs. Ted Basascker and Mrs. John Des Forge, both of Eau Claire; a stepson, Richard Bain, Chippewa Falls; two brothers, Clifford, New Auburn, and Leslie, Ridgeland; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Prill; 35 grand-children and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church, with burial in Rest Haven Gardens.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday until noon at the Smith Funeral Chapel, and one hour prior to services at the church.
