Patricia "Pete" Boggess Bain Johnson, 64, passed away Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at Valley West Community Hospital in Sandwich, Ill.
She was born Dec. 12, 1943, in New Auburn to Harold and Mary Ann Boggess. She had lived in the Sandwich area since 1971. She was a member of Harvest Chapel Church in Sandwich. She worked at Gord Plastics for more than 17 years. She was an avid painter and reader and loved music and animals. She was a collector of angels and of all things Irish.
She is survived by her children, Melanie (Ron) Gallup, Joy (Scott) Goe, Judy (Joe) Ryba, Jeff (Denise) Bain and Craig (Heather) Bain; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Ruth Boggess Bowlin; and stepbrother and sisters, Richard Bain, Marge Bassaker and Barbara Desforge.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert, on June 6, 2008; brothers, Juel, Russell, Bethel, John and Herb; and the father of her children, Frederick Bain.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at Beverage Family Funeral Home Sandwich Chapel in Sandwich, Ill., with the Rev. Barry Caudle officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
