Mr. Boggess was born in Dallas in Barron County and was a veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife Ethel, Providence; two daughters, Lidia Jean and Karon, both of Providence; his father Harold Boggess, his step-mother Mrs. .Gladys Boggess, both of Eau Claire; three brothers, Juel Boggess Appleton, John Boggess Eau Claire, and Russell Boggess, San Diego, Calif.; three sisters Mrs. Patricia Bain Sandwich Ill.; Mrs. Ruth Bowlin, Park Falls, and Mrs. Bethel Shepperd Marinette.
Services will be at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Smith Funeral Chapel, with burial in Rest Haven Gardens.
