Funeral for A. J. Goodwin, 68, of Route 2 Hillsboro was to be today at 3:30 p.m. at Brown's Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Hoover and the Rev. Bill Pullen officiating.
Burial was to be in Roselawn Gardens of Memory.
Mr. Goodwin died Tuesday at Decatur General Hospital. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and retired from Wolverine Tube Inc. after 35 years. He was a member of Fish Pond Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Billy Jack Goodwin of Hillsboro and Larry Goodwin of Trinity; one daughter, Linda Smith of Hillsboro; two brothers, Howard I. Goodwin of Decatur and Tommy Goodwin of Louisville, KY; two sisters, Vernon Ray and Loretta Bell, both of Decatur; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were to be James M. Boyer, John Boyer, Kenneth Gray, J. W. Sanford, Don Turney and Wade Whitlock.
