Mrs.Thomas A. Goodwin, 79, Hillsboro, died at 1:50 a.m. today at the home of a daughter, Mrs. John C. Bell Jr, 117 Memorial Dr. NW, Decatur, following an illness of four years.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Brown Funeral Co.
She was the wife of the late Thomas Goodwin, who died May 16.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. U.G. Burden, and Mrs. Robert C. Terry, both of Sheffield; Mrs. Henry A. Ray, Trinity 1; Mrs. John C Bell Jr, Decatur; Mrs. Charles G. Rice, Decatur; five sons, Elmer A. Goodwin, Memphis; Tommy Goodwin, Louisville, Ky; C.A., Howard, and A.J. Goodwin, all of Hillsboro; 38 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas A. Goodwin, 79, Hillsboro, were to be conducted at 4 p.m. today at Westside Presbyterian Church. The Rev. C.L. Shelby and Rev. Jack Carroll were to officiate.
Pallbearers were to be Ervin and Hubert Terry, John E. McMurry, I.E. Cooper, Aaron Singleton, and Don Marsh.
Mrs. Goodwin died at 1:50 a.m. Thursday at the home of a daughter, MJrs. John C. Bell Jr, 117 Memorial Dr. NW, Decatur.
