11 Jun 2008: Floyd Dean Weaver, Sr., 77, of Aaronsburg, died Sunday, June 8, 2008, at Geisinger Medical Center. Born June 22, 1930, in Aaronsburg, he was a son of the late Frank P. Weaver. On Oct. 28, 1956, he married Shirley L. Inhoof, who survives. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a heavy equipment operator for HRI, Inc. Floyd was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Aaronsburg. He was a member of Millheim American Legion and the Millheim Fire Company. He was also a member of the Pennsylvania Trappers Assoc., National Rifle Assoc., and the International Union of Operating Engineers. Floyd was an avid outdoorsman, and especially enjoyed trapping. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Betty Shreckengast of Millheim, Floyd Weaver Jr. of Boalsburg, Terry Weaver and his wife, Michelle, of Bellefonte, and Stacy Weaver of Woodland; and five grandchildren, Shane Timko and Angela, Dustin, Travis and Dylan Weaver. Visitation will be 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, June 12, 2008, at the Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 13, 2008, at the funeral home with the Rev. Steven Millinder officiating. Burial will be in Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Aaronsburg. [Centre Daily]
