-- Heart Attack Takes Ole K. Johnson, 75 --

 

Moscow -- Ole K. Johnson, 75, retired area farmer, died of a heart attack Sunday at 5:30 p.m. He was pronounced dead by Latah County coroner Dr. J. B. Gritzmann, eight miles east of Moscow, where he had been visiting.

 

Johnson farmed near Troy, Ida, from 1927 to 1963, when he retired and moved to Moscow.

 

He was born at Pollock, S.D., April 17, 1895 and married the former Tillie Hanson at Lewiston in 1944.

 

She survives him at the home.

 

He was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church and the Moose Lodge.

 

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Viola Wedin, Spokane: Mrs. Vera Johnson, Pollock, S.D.; Mrs. Lorraine Visser, Ventura, Calif.; Mrs. Virginia Scoles, Moscow; two sons, Ole K. Johnson Jr., and Bertil Johnson, both Moscow; stepchildren, Mrs. Alice Dillihunt, Moscow; Charles Carlsen, Kent, Tex.; Mrs. Beverly Innocente, Portland; Mrs. Ruth Stonecipher, Lewiston; two brothers, Ledwig Johnson, Moscow, Henry Johnson, Lewiston; a sister, Mrs. Amanda Pudwill, Anaheim, Calif., 30 grandchildren and 11

great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral arrangements are pending with Short's Chapel, Moscow, in charge.
