Timothy served as a Second Lieutenant & Bombardier on B-24J #42-110153, 858th Bomber Squadron, 492nd Bomber Group, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in New Jersey prior to the war.

Timothy was "Killed In Action" when his B-24, while on a mission to Brunswick, Germany, were attacked by German fighters and crashed near Erichshagen, Germany during the war. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

His remains were found in 2002 and he was repatriated here on November 18, 2002.
