Don Taylor, age 54 of Newport, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Harold Taylor; sisters, Ann Valentine and Gail Taylor.

He is survived by his mother, Alma Winkle of Newport; wife Orlevia Ivy of Newport; sons, Spencer Ivy and Don (Brittany) Taylor Jr. all of Newport; daughters, Sabrina Loyd and Jennifer (Chris) Wilson all of Newport; brothers, David (Anita) Taylor, Gary (Judy) Taylor, and Ricky (Laura) Taylor all of Newport; brother-in-law Bobby Valentine of Newport; six grandchildren; companion, Bo and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 pm. Graveside services will be on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 11:00 am in Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Bishop Craig Cutshaw officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to help with funeral expenses.
