Charlie "Chas" was born into a family of entertainers. He was with the CAUDLE FAMILY ENTERTAINERS until the show stopped and after that he was a bronco buster. He was traveling with a rodeo when he met Mary Vivian Chandler in Arkansas while he was living at her parents boarding house and they married shortly after. They had 3 sons , Charles Windle, Sam John and Phillip Ray. Windle died at age 15 in a car accident.
