Ruby Gladys Caudle was born in McGee, OK and was the daughter of John and Daisy Caudle and the wife of Claude Jones, mother of John, Elenora, Corky and Larry, sister of Johnnie, Georgia, Mary, Charlie, Jessie and Mae. She was one of the Caudle Family Entertainers from the age of 2. After she married Claude they had a traveling movie show and also traveled with various carnivals. They showed movies in rural areas where there were no theatres throughout Texas and Oklahoma.
