Mable Alice was part of the Caudle Family Entertainers in the late 1800's. John Francis Caudle had a traveling show and they traveled by covered wagon throughout Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. By the age of 3 Mable Alice could throw her voice but no one knew exactly how she did it or how she learned it.
She and her brother Joseph died of croup while they were camped by the Washita River and that's where they were buried.
