Gladys Bush
Gladys Bush, 42, Cumberland, died early Saturday in the extended care wing of the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital following a long illness.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time, but friends of the family may call at the chapel of Parker Funeral Home, Cumberland, between the hours of 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Bush Rites Are Slated Tuesday
Gladys Bush, 46, of Cumberland, died Saturday at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital after a long illness.
She was a housewife and a lifelong resident of Cumberland.
In addition to her husband, Linza Bush, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer McKnight, she is survived by her children, Mrs. Wanda Clark, Mrs. Sandy Dixon, Jeff Bush, Dinah Bush and Melody Bush, all of Cumberland.
Also surviving are her brothers, Don McKnight, Bob McKnight, Eddie McKnight, and Jerry McKnight all of Cumberland; and Bill McKnight of Okeechobee, Fla.; and her sister, Thelma Jackson of Cumberland. Two grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Cloverlick Freewill Baptist Church at Cumberland with the Rev. Billy Stanton and Rev. Jim McKnight officiating. Burial will be in the Hall Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Owen Creech, J.C. Hall, Glen Bush, Mike McKnight, Danny McKnight, Robert McKnight, Ron Short and John Dixon.
The body has been taken to the church and will remain there until the funeral hour. Parker Funeral Home is in charge.
