I found Findagrave while researching our family tree-
in Pennsylvania, New York City, West Virginia, and Ohio.

I take pictures of older stones (mostly 1800s)-
and add people to FindaGrave if they are not already listed.
Then I add the photos as soon as I can.
If you find someone whose stone you would like to see-
please request a photo on their page- so that I can upload it.
You can also message me.

I have the grave-stone photos for most of the people
I have added here in NY.
This includes at Saint Mary's, Laurel Grove, Rural Valley, Manning,
Temple Beth-El, Mount Hope Plains, Holy Name, and Scotchtown cemeteries.

Update: For the past 5 years I've been adding people
when I come across their obit during a search in
an 1800's newspaper. I may not have a photo.
I will make a note on their page.

others find their ancestors.
I would love to add more information about the departed.
I search old newspapers for more info to link people to other family members.
