Hi all. My name is David Leon Clayton. I am a disabled veteran of the Vietnam Era, and recently retired flight attendant from Delta Airlines.
I was Born on Mare Island Naval Shipyard (Vallejo, CA)spent a lot of my adult years living all over the U.S. and Abroad, eventually making my way back home. I'm also a citizen of the Chickasaw Indian Tribe from Ada, Oklahoma - My Mom's side - came out to CA like most of the other Okie's to snag a good Gov't job during the war.
I Enjoy history, photography, geneology and playing detective! Live in SF Bay Area/Napa Valley. I am a grateful member of AA. Looking for Clayton's. They came to California by way of "The Widow Clayton Wagon Train" from Bedford Co. VA. sometime in the 1850's. They were successful orchard farmers around the Napa Valley before the grapevines took over everything.
My photos are 'rough': for information only. I'd be happy to clean-up any grave that I've added & take a good pic upon request.
I'm currently adding graves and photo's from Skyview Memorial Lawn & Carquinez City Cemetery in Vallejo, CA.
