                                     Stoots Funeral Will Be Today

                 Aged Eccles Woman Succumbs to Lengthy Illness
                                                          _______
     
     Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Stoots, 87, of Eccles, who died
at her home Friday after an eight-month illness, will be conducted
at Mount Tabor church by the Rev. M. D. Loar, Sunday afternoon
at 2:30 o'clock.
     Burial will be in the Calfee cemetery at Mount Tabor.
     Mrs. Stoots' death was attributed to old age and
complications.
     She had lived in Eccles for the past 20 years and was a member
of the Eccles Holiness church.
     Surviving are her husband, Eli Stoots, Eccles; four sons, Harry,
Cooper, Harvey and C. H. Stoots, all of Eccles; three daughters,
Mrs. Nancy Adams, Mrs. Willie Bird, both of Eccles; and Mrs. Nora
Davis, Pulaski, Va.; 29 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
