Her marriage certificate has her being sixteen years-old in 1916, but this was

                                                Mrs. Willie Bird

     Mrs. Willie Mae Bird, 62, Harper, died at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday
at her home following a long illness.
     A life-time resident of Raleigh County and a member of the
Methodist Church, she was born at Bramwell Feb. 28, 1903,
a daughter of the late Eliah and Eliza Stoots.
     Her husband, Irwin Bird, died in 1959.
     Survivors include three sons, Robert, Harper, W. W. and
Victor, both of South Bend, Ind.; a step-son, Norman Harper;
four daughters, Mrs. Frank Jaqwine, Mexico, N. Y., Mrs. Drury
Margolis, Syracuse, N. Y., Mrs. Ruth Cook, Mexico City, Mexico,
Mrs. Johnny Falcone, Syracuse, N. Y.; three brothers, Harry
Stoots, Charley Stoots and Harvey Stoots, all of Eccles; a sis-
ter, Mrs. Nancy Adams, Newark, Del.
     The body will remain at the Calfee Funeral Home pending
completion of funeral arrangements.

conducted in the Calfee Chapel at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev.
Albert Ostrander officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Tabor.
     She died at 12:40 p.m. Thursday in her residence following a
long illness.
     The body will remain at the Calfee Funeral Home until the
funeral hour.
     Pallbearers include John Stoots, Kenny Burleson, Monice
Wilson, Joe Cantley, Robert Mitchem and Hubert Bennett.
