Dave Derrick, 79, for 45 years well-known resident of Brown County, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Earl Moore, Sunday, September 8. He is survived by 4 daughters, Mrs. J. D. Myers, Mrs. Albert Gladhart, Mrs. E. H. Mensen, and Mrs. Earl Moore; 4 sons, H. N. Derrick, Edward Derrick, O. E. Derrick, and Virgil Derrick. He also leaves 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and 15 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Hiawatha Methodist Church Tuesday with interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
