Isadore H. Ricker was born on January 6, 1911, three miles east of Cloverdale, Ohio, USA. He was the son of Louis B. Ricker and Anna Kemper. He was baptised on 7 January 1911 at St. Barbara Catholic Church in Cloverdale.

He grew up on a farm near Cloverdale in Perry Township for about 10 years before moving to their home in Monterey Township three miles southwest of Ottoville.

He is listed as Louis B Ricker's son (19 years & single) in 1930 Census, Monterey Township, Putnam County, OH

He is listed as Anna Ricker's son (29 years & single) in 1940 Census, Monterey Township, Putnam County, OH

On 7 February 1945, he was united in marriage to Marion K. Warnecke, daughter of Lawrence J. Warnecke and Verna Suever. Marion was born near Fort Jennings on June 1, 1920.

They lived on the 80-acre Ricker Family farm until December 23,1944 when the farmhouse was destroyed by fire. They moved off the farm property, but continued with farm operations until the farm was sold at auction in August 1946.

Isadore & Miriam had five children- four sons and one daughter- born between 1946 and 1961. The family moved to a residence west of Lima, Ohio, and he worked at Hefner Dairy. He was a member of St. Charles Borremeo Church in Lima.

Isadore H. Ricker died on 16 December 1968 in Lima, Ohio at the age of 57. He was buried Section S Plot 415 in Gethsemini Cemetery in Lima Ohio.
