James H. Ricker, age 70 of Lima, died at 10:58 p.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus. He was born June 14, 1948 in Lima, Ohio to the late Isadore Henry and Marion Catherine Warnecke Ricker.

Mr. Ricker was a retired truck driver with Spartan Nash. He had a passion for motorcycles and was a member of the Back Room Executives motorcycle club.

Survivors include 3 sons – Cris (Angie) Ricker of Plain City, Ohio; Brian (Joy) Ricker of Lima; Charles (Amy) Ricker of Lima; 2 daughters – Lindsey (J.R.) Frye of Columbus; Brandi (Kevin) Ricker of Grove City, Ohio; 18 grandchildren with one due in November; 7 great grandchildren; a brother – Ken (Jill) Ricker of New Philadelphia, OH; a sister – Marilyn (Dan) Winkler of Jackson Center; and his significant other – Carol Hennis of Lima.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers – Ron Ricker and Tom Ricker.

The family will be celebrating Jim’s life together with family and friends on September 29, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. at 15694 Shroyer Rd. Jackson Center, OH.
