Tom, 66, passed away at his home.

He was the son of Isadore 'Ike' and Marion (Warnecke) Ricker. In 1976, in Jackson Center, he married Michele Rostorfer, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Ike (Jessica), Jackson Center; two daughters: Lisa (Eric) Hughes, Columbus, and Misty (Jeff) Reese, Jackson Center; two brothers: James, Lima, and Kenneth (Jill), New Philadelphia; a sister, Marilyn (Dan) Winkler, Jackson Center; and six grandchildren.

Growing up in Lima, he attended Lima Central Catholic School. He was a self-employed entrepreneur for more than 40 years and retired from his business, Ricker Trucking, in 2009. He was a member of the Jackson Center United Methodist Church. He was a beloved husband, father and friend, as well as an incredible business man. He was passionate about taking care of others and served as a mentor, coach and counselor to many. He enjoyed the outdoors and could be found on Sundays in his garage watching NASCAR. He had a witty sense of humor that was spared on no one.
