Charles married Lucy Jane "Jennie" Lee in McKinney, Collins Co, TX on August 5, 1891, by Justice of the Peace, W.A. Adams. Their names were shown as Charlie White and Miss Jennie Lee. He was 20 years old, & she was 15.
On June 19, 1900, Charles C., age 30 (March 1897), & Lucie J., 26 (Dec. 1873), lived in Justice Precinct 1, Rains Co, TX owned a farm, which helped to support them. They had been married 10 years. Lucy had given birth to four children, all of whom were still living. They were shown as Lillie M., 7 (March 1895); Ora A., 5 (July 1894); Cora E., 3 (Feb. 1897); & Robert M., 1 (Feb. 1899).
