HICKS- Frank, age 73 years, beloved husband of Louisa Hicks, Raymond, passed away on Wednesday, Nov, 30. Funeral arrangements will be announced when completed by the Christensen Funeral Home, Ltd, Directors of Funeral Services

FUNERAL FOR SOUTH PIONEERS
Funeral services Frank Irl Hicks of Raymond, who died there Wednesday at the age of 73, will be conducted in the Raymond Stake House Saturday at 2 p.m. Bishop Bruce Galbraith will officiate.
Interment will be in the Temple Hill Cemetery with the Christensen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hicks was born in Murray, Utah and settled in Raymond 56 years ago. He retired from active life in 1958 but continued to take an active part in Church and Temple work.
Survivors include his wife, Louisa and brother, Joseph of Raymond.

RAYMOND OLD TIMER PASSESRAYMOND (HNS) - Bishop Bruce Galbraith of the Raymond Fourth Ward LDS Church officiated at the final rites for an early pioneer of Raymond, Frank I. Hicks, 73, who died suddenly at his home while making ready to walk to the post office to get his daily newspaper. Mr. Hicks started to put on his overshoes when he suffered a heart attack and died within seconds.
Speakers at the service were friends of many years, Elder Clarence Alfred and Elder Paul H. Redd. Prayers were offered by Elder T. T. Mendenhaull and President J. Golden Snow of the Taylor Stake and Elder Louis Brandley.
Pallbearers were William Wilde. E. J. Fawns, Kay b. Redd, Ezra Christensen, Solon E. Low and Gerald Snow, all of the High Priests quorum of which the deceased was a member.
BORN IN UTAH
Born in Utah Mrs. Came to Raymond during the early days of the new down in 190, for many years he operated a farm with his brother Joseph, north of town. When he retired from the farm he built a small home south of the canal where he and his wife Louisa, have since lived. Throughout his life, Mrs. Hicks was a student of the scriptures. He leaves to mourn his wife and his brother Joseph of Raymond. Interment was at Temple Hill Cemetery in the family plot.
