Mrs. Margaret Schad, 84, of St. Nazianz, died Sunday morning at St. Nicholas Hospital. Born April 25, 1883 in the town of Eaton (Manitowoc County) she was the daughter of the late Wenzel and Margaret Hiller. She attended St. Gregory's School at St. Nazianz. On April 20, 1909, she married Peter Schad at St. Nazianz, and the couple farmed in the School Hill area. Her husband died in 1952. For the past 15 years she had been living with a son, Clarence, at St. Nazianz.
She is survived by six sons, Clarence and Edmund of St. Nazianz, John and Leonard of Kiel, Max of Sheboygan, and Theodore, Howards Grove; three daughters, Mrs. Karl (Marie) Fessler, St. Nazianz, and Mrs. William (Rose) Hauch and Mrs. Melvin (Theresa) Escher, both of Kiel, 13 grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Louis Mandlich, Arpin, Mrs. Mary Ebenhoe, Black Earth, and Mrs. Joe Tienor, Manitowoc. Two sons and a daughter preceded her in death.
