John A. Schad, 84, formerly of Kiel, died Friday morning, Feb. 11, 2000 at Calumet Homestead and Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein, where he resided the past 10 years.
He was born June 6, 1915 in School Hill, Wis. He attended grade school in School Hill. Until his retirement, John was employed at Stoeltings Inc. in Kiel, for many years. He was a member of St. Peter an Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. John enjoyed spending time fishing.
Survivors include his brothers, and sisters, Marie Fessler, Kiel, Rose Hauch, New Holstein, Theodore (Frances) Schad, Sheboygan, Clarence Schad, St. Nazianz, Max (Catherine) Schad, Sheboygan, Leonard Schad, Manitowoc and Theresa (Melvin) Escher, Mission, Texas. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by three infant brothers, one infant sister and his brother, Edmond.
Funeral Mass will be held at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel with the Rev. Loren Nys SDS officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
