Mrs. F. A. Hurlbutt Dead, Passes Away at her Home North of Town Last Friday
Mrs. Caroline Hurlbutt, wife of Fred A. Hurlbutt, died at her home in the northwest part of this township Friday morning in the 66th year of her age. Her health had been failing for two years and a short time ago she was taken to St. Louis for treatment, but returned home last week to die. The family have been prominent citizens of this county for nearly half a century.
The funeral services were held at 11 a. m. Monday at the home, and were conducted by Rev. R. E. Smith. She leaves a husband and nine children, all of whom except a daughter living in California were present at the funeral.
