EDWARD NATHANIEL GENTRY
Gentry, Edward Nathaniel, 92, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2012. Edward was born on September 25, 1920 to James Lesley and Ollie Mae Gentry in Holdenville, Oklahoma, where he grew up with his eight siblings. He married Willene (Morphis) Gentry on April 24, 1944. In 1956 they moved to California with their two sons, Mitchell and David. He worked in the aerospace industry for over 30 years, retiring at the age of 72.
Edward was a consummate family man and a devout Christian. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Willene Gentry; his sons, Mitchell Gentry and David Gentry; daughter-in-law, Kathryn Gentry; and his eight grandchildren, Kristin, Karin, Eric, Cherie, Megan, Scott, Michael and Shaun.
Funeral services will be held at the Memory Garden Memorial Park Chapel, 455 W. Central Ave., Brea, CA at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 19, 2012. A viewing will be held in the Memory Garden Funeral Home on Thursday, October 18, 2012 between 4:00 and 8:00 pm.
