Son of David Angle born 1796 in Welch Run, Franklin, Co, PA Margaret Brumbaugh born 1782 in Illinois.

Grandson of Jacob Brumbaugh of Maryland 1765 – 1816, Catherine Rench, John Angle 1760 – 1823 and Susanna Miller, married married 07 Jun 1859 in Sonoma Valley.

Husband of Catherine Muhulda Orender 1844 – 1925, daughter of Joel Orender and Elizabeth Golden and sister of Martha Jones.

Father of:
* Euphrasia Jane Morrison Angle, Mrs Charles Allen Aldrich 1860 – 1929
* Anna Margaret Angle 1861 – 1919
* Six children who died during the diptheria epidemic of 1878

"In 1859 Rench Angle settled in the valley and became the second owner, however, the first to hold title to what was to become Ridgewood Ranch. Angle was a sheep rancher who, over the next 25 years, pieced together the Ranch, paying an average of $3.25 per acre. Tragedy struck the Angle family when Mr. Angle and 9 or his 15 children died. The children are buried with their father in a small cemetery on the Ranch, along with 6 of their mother's sister Martha's children who all died within months of each other." [Martha's children are actually at Little Lake Cemetery]

After his death, Catherine would marry Sylvester Drew who would mis-manage and lose the ranch. After his death, she married John H Christy.
