Mount Union, Jan. 15. - Mrs. Reba Margaret (Longacre) Suders, wife of Charles E. Suders, passed away in the Lewistown hospital, at 11:15 a.m., Tuesday January 14th, 1936. Mrs. Suders had been in ill health for several years but death followed a servious surgical operation performed Sunday previous. Mrs. Suders was a life-long resident of Mount Union and news of her death was received by many friends with keen sorrow and deep regret.

Born at Mount Union on June 7, 1898, Reba Margaret Suders was the eldest daughter of Frank F. and Minnie (Himes) Longacre, both members of old well established families of Mount Union. She was educated in the local schools and was graduated from the high school, June 1916. In early life she joined the First Methodist church and was always interested in the work of the church and faithful in attendance as long as her health permitted. She was also a member of the Eastern Star lodge of Mount Union.

For several years Mrs. Suders had been in ill health. She underwent several very serious operations in the hope of regaining health and in all her suffering she was brave and patient.

On March 21, 1923 Reba Margaret Longacre and Charles E. Suders were united in marriage. One little daughter was born to this union and she with her father survives.

There are also surviving along with the husband and little daughter, Mrs. Suders' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank F. Longacre; as well as the following brothers and sisters: Paul E. Longacre, of San Francisco, California, who left during the holidays for Persia; Miss Fae M. Longacre, Mrs. C.B. Cunningham, and Frederick G. Longacre of Mount Union and Miss Annabel Longacre, of Tappan, New York.

Funeral services will be held from her late home, E. Garber street, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. Dr. R. Skyles Oyler, of the First Methodist Church. Interment will be made in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Mount Union. Dunmire funeral service.
