Miss Fae Longacre, 80, of 102 W. Garber St., Mount Union, died at 7:30 pm Saturday, Aug. 2, 1980 at her home.
Born Sept. 4, 1899 in Mount Union, she was the daughter of Frank S. and Minnie (Himes) Longacre.
She is survived by: two sisters, Miss Annabel Longacre of Mount Union and Mrs. Kathleen Cunningham of Mount Union R.D.; and 11 nieces and nephews. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
She had been a member of the First United Methodist Church, Mount Union, since 1912. She was a member and former teacher in the primary department of the church's Sunday school class, was a member and past president of the United Methodist Women and served in many capacities in the church.
She was also a member and past worthy matron of the Mount Union Chapter No. 280, Order of the Eastern Star.
